Pastelaria refinada com um visual deslumbrante, doseada e equilibrada em açúcar e textura, preços muito aceitáveis para quem oferece qualidade e requinte. Choux de framboesa e choux de maracujá excelentes para acompanhar um café. A tarde de pistachio muito bem equilibrado, crocante , areado, e cremoso, acompanhado com um Gin. Cette pâtisserie située en face du parc municipal se trouve au premier étage d’un immeuble assez chic. Accessible via une petite porte, il suffit d’emprunter un escalier qui nous amène à l’étage. La salle est magnifique. Nous avons commandé deux pâtisseries: chocolat noisette et coco ananas. Elles sont très bonnes et pas trop sucrées. Le service est nickel. Nous sommes heureux d’avoir vécu cette expérience. ~ Laurent B

J'adore cet endroit ! Moi, j'y passe mes fins d'après midi. Un merveilleux thé, hibiscus aux fruits rouges mon préféré, une pâtisserie du Chef pâtissier. La douceur du jardin municipal en face. Fleurs, arbres, jets d'eau, les bancs... Une décoration intérieure, un cadre, une ambiance douce et chaleureuse. Un moment d'apaisement, de repos... ~ Veit V

I found this little patisserie by chance while strolling through town. I wandered up the stairs and only found the elevator once I was upstairs. The staff is very friendly and speak excellent English. We ordered tea, coffee and some of the patisserie. I liked all of the items that I tried. The coffee is no third wave coffee, but it suffices. The choux pastry with raspberry filling and the one with passion fruit were very good. The chocolate tart with caramel filling was also good with a crunchy crust, melting chocolate and creamy caramel filling. We have since visited several times for breakfast as well as for tea and cake. It’s very nice! The view is very nice onto the flowering Jacaranda trees and the small park across the street. It’s a very calm and peaceful place. I would gladly come again and sample more of the goods on offer. ~ Uli

Deze patisserie is ZO goed! De eigenaresse was erg vriendelijk en spreekt goed Engels. De taartjes zijn bizar lekker. Ik had de passievrucht choux, de grote met framboos (volgens mij), het pistache/framboos taartje (mijn favoriet👌🏻) en een citroen macaron. Ze waren stuk voor stuk heel smaakvol en eigenlijk te mooi om op te eten. Ik zal hier zeker nog een keer naartoe gaan. ~ Jasmijn

Ein zauberhafter, leider etwas versteckter Ort mitten in der vollen Innenstadt von Funchal. Wenn man den Weg nach oben erstmal gefunden hat wird man belohnt: Traumhafte, innovative französische Patisserie, ein freundlicher Service, gute Preise und ein schöner Blick auf den Stadtpark und die Avenida. Llega a esta pasteleria de casualidad, probé un ecalir de pistacho y fue un gusto al paladar. Luego regrese a merendar y el servicio, la atención y todo lo que comimos estaba increíble Pastelería francesa en el centro de Funchal les recomiendo ☕️el chocolate caliente estaba delicioso. ~ Madien D

This was a delightful sanctuary that we nearly missed as you have to go upstairs and it's not obvious from the street. The first time we went we had an afternoon tea for two. This was good value. Too much for us to consume in one sitting so we purchased a box for 50 cents to take our cakes away. The only criticism I had was that for a pot of tea for two there was only one teabag. Another was provided when we asked. It didn't put us off as we returned later in the holiday for tea and cake. The blueberry and passion fruit confection was probably one of the best cakes I've ever tasted - the flavours were so intense and the texture perfect. ~ Susan M

Desde que abriu estou a ir a este lugar. Adoro o ambiente e sem duvidas a Joana faz magia com as suas mãos ao confeccionar essas deliciosas sobremesas. Da última vez estava chuva e só me apeteceu um café, é parada obrigatória para descansar e continuar o dia no Funchal. ~ Carlos G

Sehr schönes Ambiente mit perfekter französischer Patisserie. Keine Aussensitzplätze vorhanden und der Eingang ist leider etwas versteckt. Der service ist freundlich jedoch langsam. Die Patisserie lohnt sich zu besuchen wenn man etwas Zeit hat. Empfehlenswert! ~ Ex P

Little hidden gem! Lovely tearoom having view on the jardim. The pâtisserie assortiments are to die for. Subtle flavors, perfect execution. The staff and chef are friendly and make sure you’re having the best time. Prices are more than affordable for such a high standard patisserie quality. It was my first time trying and I’m already looking to go back next week! Perfect location for a dessert or coffee date with your loved one or friends. I recommend with closed eyes! ~ Ge G

A truly delightful stop; we enjoyed an amazing pastry and a delicious cake, perfectly paired with excellent coffee and refreshing iced tea. The setting is beautiful and full of character: vintage photographs, lush green plants, and soft light create a calm, elegant atmosphere. Wir waren spontan hier, da es sehr zentral liegt und die Bilder toll aussahen. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten ein paar Getränke und mein Mann hatte einen Mandarinen Kuchen. Ich habe zweimal gegabelt, da ich keinen Hunger hatte, und es hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Unser Nachbartisch hatte ein Frühstück, was sehr köstlich aussah. Wir kommen auf jedenfall zum frühstücken nochmal zurück und empfehlen es definitiv weiter. Das Café liegt im zweiten Stock und hat auch einen Fahrstuhl. Toiletten waren sauber. I highly recommend Choux Pâtisserie. Joana Gonçalves is a renowned Chef, having worked in several of the best Michelin-starred restaurants in Portugal. She is also very friendly and kind. To have the opportunity to taste her signature desserts in such a lovely venue, and to meet her and have a chat, is something that should definitely be in your bucket list whilst you’re in Madeira! ~ Tiago M
